Chesterford Homecare Shortlisted for Great British Care Awards
We are delighted to announce that our Registered Manager, Amanda Mudie, has been shortlisted for the title of Homecare Registered Manager of the Year at the Great British Care Awards. The Great British Care Awards are a celebration of excellence across the care sector and the purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to those individuals who have made an outstanding contribution in their field of work. http://www.care-awards.co.uk/
Over 100 Nominations
Amanda joins a shortlist of 8, selected from well over 100 nominations and will learn whether she has been successful at an Awards Dinner to be held at the Holiday Inn in Peterborough on Thursday, 24th October.
Before being appointed Manager in August, 2017, Amanda had never held a senior management position before, but she has proved a natural in the role. It is a credit to her dynamic and inspirational leadership that we received an extremely positive Inspection Report firstly from the CQC in December, 2018, and from Essex County Council in March 2019.
Despite being a newcomer to the role, Amanda is extremely modest about what she has achieved since she took over as Manager just over two years ago. More importantly she is passionate about the need for everyone in the company to keep striving every day to make sure that the quality of the care our clients receive gets better and better. As she often says: “No matter how well you think you are doing, there is always room for improvement!”
Amanda is a committed and dedicated professional and we fervently hope that her outstanding work will be recognised at the Awards Ceremony on the 23th October.
